NAO is the leading humanoid robot being used for research and education worldwide. Together with Aldebaran we engineered and manufactured parts of the robot in China. Check out this video to see the Nao Humanoid Robot in action.
The world’s most popular robot
Nao, dubbed as the world’s most popular robot, is an autonomous and programmable humanoid Robot. It’s used for a variety of purposes, including laboratory research, education and elderly care.
The developer is French company Aldebaran Robotics, which was taken over by Japan’s Banksoft in 2013.
Developing a robot that can dance
Designed in France, we helped to manufacture parts of the robot in China. We provided the mold design, engineered and manufactured plastic parts, and eventually managed the supply chain and assembly of the robot. A complex but rewarding project that eventually made global headlines.
